Thus, the hybrid plug-in version of the Transit Custom will automatically enter certain predefined areas, such as crowded areas or areas where only low-emission vehicles have access.
Switching to electric mode will be based on data obtained from the location system, and fleet owners will be able to establish their own "green areas" to reduce emissions in the immediate vicinity of targets such as parks or schools.
